APEX Primary Care is dedicated to providing high quality healthcare to the community with an emphasis on preventative medicine to help keep patients out of the hospital. Through conscientious care, our goal is to actively screen for and manage common chronic medical conditions before complications can manifest. Our patients are adults aged 18 years old and above. We look forward to serving our community and helping them lead long, happy and healthy lives.
Dr. Patel is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine with training in both the hospital and outpatient settings. He received his undergraduate education at the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. He attended medical school at the American University of Antigua in the West Indies, completing his residency training at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, FL.
As a primary care practitioner, his goal is to simultaneously promote a healthy lifestyle while carefully screening his patients based on the most up-to-date guidelines. By practicing a preventative style of medicine, he hopes early detection of common medical diseases can lead to prompt treatment, better outcomes, and a reduced reliance on numerous long-term medications and/or hospitalizations.
Growing up just a few miles from where his practice is now located, Dr. Patel is deeply invested in his local community and is dedicated to providing the best in personalized healthcare. His goal is not only to treat patients effectively, but to also spend the time necessary to educate them on their medical conditions so they may better care for themselves at home as well.
Devoted to his patients, he provides the added convenience of in-office blood draws. Should the need arise for a patient to be admitted to the hospital, rest assured Dr. Patel will make it a priority to personally see them.
